Description

The drowning of hundreds of women and children on the LUSITANIA was soon exploited by propaganda to encourage men to enlist. Source: Spear, Fred, Artist, and Willard Dickerman Straight. Enlist / Fred Spear. [New York: Sackett & Wilhelms Corporation, or 1916] Photograph. Retrieved from the Library of Congress.
