Description

The U-boat attacks in the Irish Sea and St George’s Channel offered perhaps the most tangible and direct experience of war for Pembrokeshire civilians, including children. Local children were also involved in efforts to increase food production to offset the shortages caused by U-boat campaign against merchant shipping.
