Description

A day ticket for 'taking the waters' issued at the Old Pump Room in Llandrindod Wells on 6 September 1899. It bears the name of Ffynnonllwynygog, or 'the well in the cuckoo's grove'. This, the ticket claims, was 'discovered and recorded as famous as early as 1696'.
