Description

John mentions the great loss following the death of Williams Roberts. John Owens and John Jones the tailor have received their discharge and Owen Owens is getting better.

John sent his overcoat home about two weeks ago but didn't have a chance to wash it before sending it. He thanks his parents for the stamps and for the copy of the community newspaper, 'Y Drych'.
