Description

A pocket size book, published in 1943 by Inspector E.R. Baker of the Glamorgan Constabulary.

During the period of the second world war, many new laws were created in the UK, as well as others being revised.

Ronald Baker was a knowledgeable and highly respected police historian. He was also well known as publisher of law related books, especially those relating to police promotion examinations.

He spent all of his police service in the Glamorgan Constabulary, rising to the rank of Deputy Chief Constable.
