Description

Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive at Hen and Chicks, Little Haven on the 14th July 1997. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below).
Dive details: Launched out of Little Haven after lunch, having watched the Air Sea Rescue helicopter lower the raise a winch man in the bay. Leigh and Sue boat cover. Followed Peter, Alan bringing up the rear far mast of the dive. Nice, easy and leisurely dive, lots of life again - but wrasse, spider and edible crabs, soft corals - Devonshire cup and snake lock anemones in particular. Peter found a cave which came through to the other side of the rock we didn't venture through. Alan ascended after 26 mins on 30 bar, how do they do it? Peter brought us back to the line as I got to 50 bar so we ascended the line.
