Description
Kevin Hawke is a keen diver and Living Seas Wales volunteer. This image is taken from his dive log and records a dive near Martins Haven, St Brides Bay 22nd March 1998. During the dive he observed a variety of marine wildlife which he describes in the "Dive Details" section of the log book (transcribed below). Dive Details: Short surface swim to get some depth. Simon navigation while I have the S.M.B. Followed the rocks out. saw a nice Snakelocks Anemone on some small stones, then a small Lobster under larger stones. Swam out for 14mins then swam across the bay, lots of life in and on the sand - Razor Fish, Hermit Crabs ect. Returned along the rock, on the opposite side found an unusual Jellyfish, shaped like a lightbulb with flashing lights running down each segment. Nice easy and relaxed dive without any problems. Also on the way out saw, what looked like confectioners roses creamy white spirals about 20 x 3mm wide - sea lemon's egg ribbons containing loads of eggs!
