Description

An early 20th century postcard showing what is described as 'The City Cross, Llandaff.' Shown in the photograph is a Constable of the Glamorgan Constabulary. At that time, Llandaff was part of the County force area.

Llandaff is informally referred to as a "city" because of its status as the seat of the Bishop of Llandaff - but this status was never officially recognised.
