He did not say where he had come from that day - He did not
say that he had been in any other house in Newport that day -
I had no conversation with him about what had happened to the
Westgate Inn that day - It was while we were having our Breakfast
the next morning, he expressed a wish to me to see the dead bodies -
He did not say it was probable that he had some friends amongst
them - He asked me if I had seen them - I said I had and he said he
should like to go and see them - I saw nine dead bodies - I had not
heard what the names of the dead bodies were - I did not hear that
the son of a person of the name of Shell was amongst them - After he
went in to see the bodies, and came out to me again. He did not tell me
that he had ^seen the body of a person of the name of Shell with whom he
was acquainted - I have only one bed in the House - The Prisoner
slept with me - I am a married man, my Wife slept at Abersychan -
