Description

In the late 1860s the Temperance Hall in Aberdare was the location of several conferences for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This article provides brief bio's for the leaders and missionaries associated with those conferences, many of whom were natives of Britain who had emigrated after converting to 'Mormonism' and returned for a short time to continue the work of proselytising.
