Description

Norman Gale played for Llanelli and Swansea and earned 25 caps for Wales between 1960 and 1969 as a hooker.
He won his first cap against Ireland and toured South Africa with Wales in 1964. Another highlight was his try against the Scots at Murrayfield in 1965 which won the game for Wales. In 1967 he was made captain of Wales, leading his country for the first time against the All Blacks.
