Description

A black and white postcard of Barry Docks, taken during the First World War. Description on the back of the postcard: "BARRY DOCKS, GLAMORGAN. Admiralty transports, armed and camouflaged, berthed in No. 1 dock during the First World War. Barry was used extensively for the supply of coal, war material and stores to the Allied troops overseas. The Dock Offices are seen in the distance. Photograph by H.
