Description

Sepia postcard titled 'Tenby from the Croft'. The postcard is stuck onto backing card. Dated to early 20th century, it shows Tenby harbour with wooden sailing ships, Castle Hill, and the Royal Victoria Pier. The pier, built in 1897, fell into disrepair during the Second World War and demolished between 1946 and 1953. The new RNLI lifeboat station, completed in 2005, was built on the site.
