An early photgraph showing a Constable of the former Anglesey Constabulary. Taken some time during the very early part of the 20th century.

The unusual shaped kepi style helmet was worn by only a few police forces of the time, including nearby Cheshire.

The Anglesey Constabulary was the Home Office police force for the county of Anglesey from 1856 until 1950.
