Description
This is a photograph of British Army Veteran Leslie Frank Smart, as he was recording his memoirs of serving with the Gloucestershire regiment between 1953 and 1960. The film was recorded, edited and published by Age Cymru Dyfed Veterans project. His faithful companion Buddy is sitting patiently in the armchair next to Leslie, listening in. More material about Leslie and his time serving with the Glosters can be viewed on line at the West Wales veterans archive in the Leslie Smart collection on the Peoples collection Wales website.
