Description
Arthur Rhys Daniels, whose father ran a grocer's shop on Newton Road, Mumbles served as Lance Corporal in the 1st Welsh Guards. He was killed in action aged 25 on 17th October 1915, in France, and is remembered with honour on the Great War Rood Screen Memorial, All Saints' Church, Mumbles.
