Description

The stopping place for Audio Point Two overlooks the Iron Age hillfort of Moel y Gaer Llanbedr, which sits on a spur from the Range, towering over the Vale of Clwyd. Samantha Williams, Hillfort Conservation Officer for the Heather and Hillforts Project talks about Moel y Gaer and hillforts in this audio point.
Also nearby are the remains of a Bronze Age burial mound. Fiona Gale, County Archaeologist for Denbighshire, takes us back 4000 years to the time when this was thought to have been built.
