Description
This is one of several advertisements for new staff which appeared in the North Wales Weekly News throughout October 1974.
The Hotpoint factory at Llandudno Junction produced washing machines for the British market. The Company was advertising for an experienced secretary to work part time. The applicants need to have shorthand and typing skills and be educated to GCSE O Level standard with secretarial qualifications.
Unlike the advertisements for assembly ine and factory workers, this advertisement doesn't specify the salary offered. Workers are offered 3 weeks 2 days holiday each year.
