Description

A copper plate daguerreotype mounted on a wooden block. On the back of the paper covered wood block is - 'PC 128 Fitzgibbon, Neath 1856'. (Glamorganshire Constabulary).Depending on the angle at which you view it....it can be seen like a negative, a positive or a copper coloured mirror. I have angled it to show it in the positive.
