A 4 inch high brass horse martingale badge of the Cardiff Police. Post 1905 with City coat of arms centre. The crown is that of a Marquess showing the influence in Cardiff of John Patrick Crichton-Stuart, 3rd Marquess of Bute KT, KSG, KGCHS
