Description
Originally opened as a tuberculosis isolation hospital in 1910, and has gone under various names,e.g. Plas Ucha Sanitorium and Abergele Sanitorium and in 1955 it was called the Abergele Chest Hospital for Adults and Children. The hospital is still open and has been threatened over the past years with closure, but has always survived. However, there has ben some building work of recent years, so there may be cause for optimism, so watch this space!
