Description

Aerial view as I approach the Clwydian Hills, leaving the Vale of Clwyd and on my way towards the Deeside Estuary and Hawarden Airport. It is along the length of these chain of hills that Offa's Dyke runs, along with several Iron-Age hillforts. The Dee Estuary can be seen in the distant background beyond the hills. Note the patchwork of fields as seen from above. Image taken 26 June 2005.
