Description
Ingredients
- bacon, cut into small pieces
- one onion, chopped
- a little butter
- salt and pepper
- short-crust pastry
Method
- Line a large oven-proof plate with a thin layer of pastry.
- Spread the bacon pieces and chopped onion thickly over the pastry, season with salt and pepper and dot with butter.
- Cover with a second layer of pastry, and seal.
- Bake in a moderately hot oven.
