Description

Aberavon RFC, 1919-1920 Season. The Talbot Athletic Field was turned into allotments during WWI and immediately after the war, games were held in the Sandfields area. The team shown here outside the Hotel Vivian included such stalwarts as Johnny Ring, Dai Hunt Davies, Bob Randall, Tom Ponsford and Pandy Rees.
