Description

Bertha and Charles (Carlo) Deschoolmeester and their children, originally from Ostend in Belgium. They came as refugees to West Wales in December 1914 and were hosted at Llanegwad. At the end of the war they did not return to Belgium but moved to St Clears, where Charles worked for many years as an electrical engineer at the Milk Factory.
