Sir,

I was enquiring of Mr. Tierney today whether 'Jonathan Jones', who no doubt you remember was apprehended by me just before I left Carmarthen for the Talog Riot, was convicted of the same, and he told me he thought he was but if I wrote to you, Sir, you no doubt would tell me the particulars of it, which if you will please do, you will greatly oblige me, to enable me, if he was convicted to apply to the proper quarter on the subject for a moiety of the Reward, which I believe the Magistrates will consider me entitled to, Mr. P.
