Description

In 1923, 390,296 women signed 'Yr Apel', a 'memorial' from the women of Wales to the women of America in the name of world peace after WW1 - calling on their support for America to join the League of Nations. Organised by women of the Welsh League of Nations Union, this 'signup leaflet' was sent to every household in Wales.
