Description

The hand painted cock and hen pattern was a popular design for the Llanelli factory. Words such as 'Bore Da' ('Good morning' in Welsh) were sometimes painted emanating from the cockerel's beak. This jug has indecipherable words 'DRENWA NHW' [sic]. It is marked 'Llanelly', in black. Whole tea services were also decorated with this pattern. Dimensions: height 16cm.
