Description
Life size model of the New Welsh Dinosaur, Dracoraptor hanigani. This model is on display at National Museum Cardiff. The bones of this dinosaur were found near Penarth in 2014. It is the oldest Jurassic dinosaur ever discovered in the UK. It was named Dracoraptor hanigani after the Hanigan brothers who found the fossil skeleton. Dracoraptor means ‘dragon robber’. This item is held at National Museum Cardiff.
